Dear reader,
Until December 2024, I worked as a permanent researcher at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), in the Astrophysics division. During my time at CEA, I had the privilege of being awarded research funding (ANR/JCJC grant), mentoring students, and earning the Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) degree from Université Paris-Saclay.
While I thoroughly enjoyed my work at CEA, my family and I faced several challenges settling down in France. As a result, I made the decision to return to the Netherlands, where I have now started working as a Data Scientist at ABN AMRO in Amsterdam.
In the coming months, my goal is to explore opportunities to return to academia. I am aware that re-entering this field may be challenging, but I am committed to giving it my best effort.
